FAQ

What is Hippotherapy?

Hippotherapy is medically based intervention that differs from Therapeutic Riding (which is recreationally based).  Our clients often have profound physical limitations. We offer physical and occupational therapy from licensed therapists using the horses as a tool to develop strength, balance, posture, motor planning, body awareness, task focus and confidence.

Where we're located

If you would like to see what we do in person, please call anytime for a visit 330-507-7424.  Our barn is located on Duck Creek Road in North Jackson, OH. We look forward to seeing you.

How we're funded

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and, although our clients pay a minimal fee to cover therapist and horse leader costs, we are in desperate need of funding to continue this unique program beyond our current summer session which serves up to 32 clients. Please consider a significant donation to allow us the opportunity to continue to serve our tri-county area’s specially gifted population.
